Fluid Topics, our flagship product, is a Content Delivery Platform that revolutionizes how technical documentation and product information is published and accessed for Customer Support and Field Maintenance activities. We sell our software solution to large corporates through a SaaS subscription model. Our clients are mostly international (North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia), and we work with a strong ecosystem of partners and integrators.

Our continued success and growth requires a technical writer to join the team.

 

The Role

You will be part of the Documentation team. The team is in charge of designing User Guides, Installation Guides, Release Notes, Training materials and Translations.

As part of the Documentation team, the Technical Writer is responsible for:

  • Creating self-explanatory outbound documentation (User Manual, Release Notes) to ease the operations of Fluid Topics users,
  • Interface with R&D experts to understand how to maximize the use and efficiency of Fluid Topics,
  • Interface with Product Owners to position solution features into technical advantage and business selling point.

Essential required skill set and experience

  • Degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications from University Rennes 2, University Paris Diderot, similar or equivalent work experience,
  • 3 – 5 years work experience in technical writing of content / documentation in the software,
  • You should be familiar with Technical Modelization, Structured Writing, Modular Content, and Standardization of Content,
  • A good understanding of HTML, XML, CSS is required,
  • A first experience with DITA, Markdown or S1000D would be a plus,
  • Strong relational and communication skills in an international environment,
  • Technology savvy, business-driven and customer focused,
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously,
  • Fluent English is a must, a second language will be a plus,
  • Passion for technology and innovation!
