How Does It Work?
What does Fluid Topics ingest?
Tridion users can send all their DITA content to Fluid Topics: DITA maps and topics, images, videos, attachments and even metadata.
How is content transformation operated?
Once the DITA content has been uploaded, it is processed by Fluid Topics’ DITA processor using the provided DITA-OT. It mixes the XML original content with the HTML output of DITA-OT.
Does Fluid Topics handle variants and versions?
Fluid Topics supports multiple versions and translations of the same document. Variants are supported thanks to DITAVAL.
Does Fluid Topics manage different languages?
Fluid Topics accepts content in all locales of all languages, with support of left-to-right languages, ideograms, and more. Readers can easily switch content from one language to another.
Does Fluid Topics maintain links once content is processed?
Links to topics in the same document and links across different documents are maintained and work seamlessly.
What formats are handled by the connector?
DITA 1.2 or DITA 1.3 are supported, with any specialization of content when needed.
