We’re looking for an experienced Presales Engineer to join our team and support our growth across Europe.

Your mission

Serving as a trusted technical advisor, you will combine expertise in enterprise SaaS, content ecosystems, and technical documentation to diagnose client challenges and architect pragmatic, tailored solutions. You’ll then present a clear vision for implementation and professional services, translating complexity into clear, practical guidance. By doing so, you help customers understand not only the solution itself, but how to structure, enrich, and operationalize their content for maximum business value.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead pre-sales engagements with enterprise prospects.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to identify client needs, constraints, and existing documentation environments.
  • Advise on content modeling and knowledge organization, including metadata strategy, taxonomy design, classification, and semantic enrichment.
  • Support service and field operation use cases, such as troubleshooting, maintenance procedures, and service documentation.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, workshops, and solution presentations, adapting to different audiences.
  • Build prototypes and proofs of concept to validate requirements and integration scenarios, using Web APIs, DITA, HTML, and JSON.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape solution approaches.
  • Scope and estimate professional services based on client requirements. 
  • Assess the feasibility of integrations and custom workflows, and define implementation strategies. 
  • Contribute to RFP responses and technical evaluations. 
  • Work with Account Executives to support deal closure and transition to onboarding. 

What you bring

  • 3–5+ years in Pre-Sales, solution consulting, or technical sales in SaaS, CCMS or CDP environments, with a strong focus on technical content management and delivery.
  • A ‘hacker’s mindset’ and a knack for creative problem-solving. Not just a user of technology, but a builder who can quickly prototype solutions to demonstrate value. Strong technical skills are essential, including proficiency in Web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS), data manipulation (XML, JSON, XSLT, DITA-OT), and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
  • Strong grasp of content delivery platforms, front-end, data integrations, and implementation workflows.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to translate tech into business value.
  • Motivated to stay ahead of the curve, proactively keeping up with product updates, new feature releases, and continuously investing in your own learning and professional growth.
  • Aware of specific needs of enterprise solutions (compliance, certifications, security…).
  • A consultative mindset and passion for solving complex challenges.
  • Native-level or fluent English speaker.
  • Bonus: German and/or French language proficiency (native or fluent), in writing and speaking.
