Your mission
As Fluid Topics continues to grow, we are expanding the Product Knowledge team with a dedicated Technical Knowledge Specialist.
The Product Knowledge team is responsible for creating, managing, and delivering the resources that help customers, partners, and internal teams build knowledge and expertise on Fluid Topics. This includes technical reference documentation, Tech Notes, knowledge base articles, and high-quality learning and enablement materials.
Role and key responsibilities
The Technical Knowledge Specialist will distill advanced product features and designs into clear, organized, and actionable content for non-technical audiences, such as prospective customers, clients, sales teams, and partners. This position focuses on communicating the product’s capabilities, how it works, and the value it delivers. As part of the team, the Technical Knowledge Specialist’s tasks are to:
- Develop and maintain functional reference materials, such as solution overviews, technical briefs, and use-case narratives.
- Conduct interviews with product managers, R&D, and subject-matter experts to understand sophisticated topics (e.g., architecture, AI, security, integrations) and transform them into accessible and educational documentation.
- Ensure functional content remains consistent and accurate with respect to technical documentation and the product roadmap by collaborating closely with technical writers.
- Tailor the level of detail and terminology to suit the target audience (buyers, technical stakeholders, sales teams) while maintaining factual accuracy.
- Continuously update content to reflect new product releases and changes to offerings.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create and distribute supporting assets, such as videos and visual content, while maintaining editorial ownership and ensuring the accuracy of all Product Knowledge materials.
Essential required skill set and experience
- 5+ years of experience in knowledge management, content management, customer enablement, pre-sales consulting, product marketing, business or functional analysis, or a related role within a B2B SaaS company, with a strong focus on writing and content creation.
- A master’s degree in English, Communication, Business, Engineering, Knowledge
Technologies or equivalent is required. - Exceptional writing and synthesis skills in English.
- Proven ability to understand technical subjects (such as software, SaaS, AI, and system architecture) without requiring a background in coding or engineering.
- Ability to independently interview subject-matter experts and effectively structure and present complex information.
- A meticulous approach and strong commitment to factual accuracy, as this content directly represents the company to prospects and customers.
- Deep interest in AI-related subjects and willingness to explore new ones.
- Strong interest in technology and innovation.
